Overview

Apollo Global Management is one of the world's largest asset managers and private equity firms. Apollo invests across several asset classes and geographies, with offices in 26 cities and an AUM of over $500B. Apollo invests across three verticals, which are Yield (akin to Credit), Hybrid, and Equity.

Apollo is well known for its value-oriented approach to private equity investing and its willingness to take on more flexible investment structures. Apollo's Hybrid Value Fund combines elements of both equity and credit investing, giving them the ability to invest across the capital structure.

In 2022, Apollo announced its launch into the secondaries industry with an initial $4B in commitments from various investors.

Apollo led an investor group to enter into an acquisition agreement with global air-freight company Atlas Air. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2022 or Q1 2023.
